We get that not everyone likes exercise, that starting out can be intimidating or confusing or boring - yawn. "What should I do, how should I do it? I'd rather not do it."
We get that those that do 'like' exercise aren't always sure on how to push their fitness on to the next level or indeed if what they're doing is truly the best for them. They enjoy it but maybe they've just followed the same old routine and didn't feel like pushing themselves today?
What we also get is that fitness should be kept interesting to allow no room for boredom, fitness should be challenging but enjoyable, fitness should not be feared but approachable, fitness should be adapted to suit the uniqueness of us all, fitness should be made fun, fitness should make us feel good and fitness should ultimately re-energise us!!
I've always been active in my life, from winning the egg + spoon race at school (a big deal at 6 years!) to representing my county at badminton, to swimming throughout being pregnant, I've always felt more alive, more ENERGISED physically and mentally with sport + fitness in my life.
As we know, fitness and well-being is more important than ever right now, providing escapism, focus and positivity during an extremely testing time for everyone. Exercise is MY PASSION and I want to share that with you/help you feel this too - to focus on letting the tension flow out and renewed energy flow in!
If I can do my job to inspire + help others to invest in their own well-being through fitness during these unprecedented times, then I'll feel very content indeed!!
